    Prerequisites

Our online sleep counsellor training for adults is aimed at professionals working with adults with additional support needs. This includes social workers, specialist nurses, residential workers, occupational therapists etc.

After completing the training, professionals will be ready to set up and run a sleep counselling service. This may be with adults themselves, with their parent(s)/carer(s), or in a residential setting.

Sleep Scotland expects professionals to commit to a minimum of 2.5 hours per fortnight for providing a sleep counselling service. Those who have trained with us cannot charge the people they are working with or their families for any support they provide regarding sleep.

This course is not suitable for private practitioners.

Group registration discounts are available. Please contact us for further details.
