Purpose of role

The Sleep Action Scottish Sleep Support Line provides information, guidance, and support for parents and carers of children and young people with sleep issues through telephone calls and emails. We are looking to appoint a Support Line Administrator to join our small busy team.

Reporting to the Support Line Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Scottish Sleep Support Line. You will respond to emails from families, health professionals and social care practitioners, log case details and bookings into our database and respond to queries about cancelling and rescheduling appointments for our small team of Sleep Advisors. You will collate statistics and maintain records and filing systems.

Who are we looking for?

As Support Line Administrator you will be confident in working with email, booking and file-sharing systems as well as word processing and spreadsheets. You will be able to work within a CRM database.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator with strong attention to detail and excellent time and task management skills. They will be comfortable both working solo and within a small team.

This is a hybrid role. The successful applicant will be expected to attend team meetings in Edinburgh at least four times a year.
