Nicola's story

Why Nicola trained with Sleep Action

  • Nicola recognised that many pupils were withdrawing from after-school clubs and sports, missing out on valuable social and physical development
  • She noticed this disengagement was mirrored in the classroom, where tired pupils were unfocused
  • Nicola knew if pupils slept better, they would be more able to engage in creative and sporting extracurricular activities

How it transformed Nicola's practice

Since completing Sound Sleep and rolling it out for his pupils, Nicola has witnessed a remarkable change in her school. Pupils are more energetic, more focused in class, and more enthusiastic about extracurricular activities. Better sleep routines have resulted in improved behaviour and attendance, as students are more engaged both academically and in after-school clubs and sports.

Nicola’s innovative approach has empowered her pupils to embrace a healthier lifestyle, maximising their potential in every area of school life.
