Sleep-friendly Employers are committed to supporting employee sleep because they recognise that there is no health and wellbeing without sleep.

They follow Sleep Action’s three-year workplace wellbeing programme Sleep-friendly Employer to raise awareness among their staff of the benefits of improved sleep, fostering healthy attitudes towards sleep, and supporting their teams through training and sleep-friendly HR policy changes.

Becoming a Sleep-friendly Employer is easy:

  1. Sign-up by visiting sleepaction.org/sleep-friendly-employer
  2. Select your Sleep Champions to attend a half-day training session with Sleep Action’s expert trainers
  3. Provide access for all staff to Sleep Action’s self-paced online Employee Sleep Training
  4. Implement Sleep-friendly HR Policies that support menopause, pregnancy, shift work
  5. Attend online Annual Sleep Workshops for Managers with Sleep Action’s team
