Sleep Action: The UK’s oldest sleep charity
Sleep Action (formerly Sleep Scotland) was founded to address the unmet sleep issues of children in Edinburgh with additional support needs.
Since 1998, we have grown to become the leading provider of sleep support and training across the UK and Ireland. We’ve trained more than 1,500 Sleep Counsellors across the UK and Ireland and supported over 4,000 families through our Scottish Sleep Support Line since 2018.Â
Our approach is based on the latest sleep science supported by over twenty-seven years’ experience, making our guidance easy to understand and apply.Â
Scottish Sleep Support Line
The Scottish Sleep Support Line is available to families with children and young people between 18 months and 18 years living in Scotland.
We provide compassionate, non-judgmental support and guidance tailored to each young person’s unique needs. By listening carefully, we create a step-by-step sleep plan that builds healthy sleep habits and behaviours over time.
Since 2018, over 4,000 families have trusted our Scottish Sleep Support Line to help them.
This service is available at no cost, thanks to generous donations and grant funding.
