Why Lisa trained with Sleep Action
- Lisa recognised sleep deprivation in children with additional support needs and the effect it had on the whole family, school, work, and relationships
- She needed an improved understanding of sleep science to understand how cortisol levels affect melatonin production and how night-time routines influence overall sleep quality to support those families
- Lisa wanted to learn to conduct comprehensive sleep assessments and deliver effective sleep intervention strategies and advice that would be tailored to these families’ circumstances and needs
